Sky News is reporting this morning that Cunard's QE2 has been sold to Istithmar/Dubai World for approximately $99 million. The ship will be converted into a luxury hotel and will be berthed at The Palm Jumeirah development. The Palm is a unique resort that consists of a man-made island in the shape of a Palm tree with each branch reaching out into the Persian Gulf.Click here for the full story.
